It does, however, introduce casual additions like the wall climb, but it completely undermine the core momentum-based swinging mechanics by removing the precision and strict timing required to swing efficiently. it destroys the skill gap that made its predecessor challenging and replaces with a dull, automated chore.

The movement is slick and made chasing faster times so much fun! I even enjoyed exploring the "open world" because it just feels good. I do wish there were tracks that truly utilized the full scope of the map. The completely dead playerbase is a huge shame, and I hope the dev can fill out their vision during this early access phase. At least I can get my friends to try for free through a browser. What's here is too much fun to be overlooked...

This game can be fun with friends if you never played speedrunners or only casually played it with friends. But on your own, if you played speedrunners for hundreds of hours solo before, you won't enjoy it, because *for competitive play*, its watered down version of speedrunners and it seems like you never get to go as fast as speedrunners. So I didn't enjoy it and i dont recommend it if you are looking for something like that. Also in the last month total of like 10 people played the game. Its impossible to find a match on your own. It wouldn't be fair to give "not recommended" review because the game just wasn't what i expected. Buy it if its what you are looking for.
