[/h3] This is the game that concludes the trilogy, taking everything that worked in the previous entries and not shying away from experimentation - once again raising the bar. Honestly, the first game was awful. The second became a solid roguelite, and the third could have simply doubled down on that formula — but instead, it expanded the approach. Now we don't have just one character, but four, each with their own classes, skills, and progression, which multiplies the number of possible builds tenfold. For better or worse - you can directly control only one character; for the others, you just press their skills, while their movement and attacks are handled by chosen behaviors. This simplifies the overall gameplay but can be a problem against certain bosses. Yes, bosses and mobs now differ not just in stats but also in archetypes, skills, and behavior. For this genre, not many games are this attentive to gameplay depth and improvement. And the genre is: an NSFW turn-based roguelike. On the NSFW front, things are good - but not as impressive as the gameplay. There are more heroines, but since you unlock them gradually through the story…

For both story and gameplay experience, I would definitely recommend playing 2 before playing this, and getting this if you liked it. Compared to previous entry, instead of just 1 player character, you start with 2 in a party, gradually growing to 4 by the end, each with different skills and roles. You can manually use as many skills as you want per turn and set desired attack targets for each of your party members, but can only directly control the movement of one unit, with the rest acting based on some movement profile that you set (e.g; stay in place, pursue enemies, retreat, etc.) The core mechanic involves repeatedly playing through the game, restarting after a loss, but keeping the abilities that you gained in the previous run. While all characters level individually, only 1 character (Illy) retains her skills, while the rest of your party will reset. This issue is alleviated by that fact that some of Illy's skills involve stat boosts to the other party members, so their stats won't fully reset per loop.
