Really fun game. It's absolutely bursting with creativity even at this early stage - I love the mechanic whereby you unlock levels-within-levels by getting better speedrun times or exploring the levels thoroughly, and every element of the presentation (art style, music, environment design) is top notch. It feels really fresh in a way that few games do and I'm excited to see where it goes from here. My only real gripe with the game (besides performance) is the fact that you have to complete the level and exfiltrate in order to keep any unlocks you find while exploring. I don't know what the intention is with this, or whether it was just carried over from Cruelty Squad, but I really don't think it works here. More often than not, it just acts as a disincentive to exploring further - I'm better off completing the mission and restarting, lest I lose the unlocks I've already picked up. Needless to say, having to complete challenges you've already done in order to get an unlock that you lost by dying is more annoying than fun. I hope this is changed, or at least that we're given the option to change it.

Cruelty Squad but they hid all the unlocks behind Rube Goldberg machines.

This reminds me of cruelty squad so much that The third Triagon was born of Death. It saw that the world was radiating excess energy. It wanted to put great things into motion. But greatness wasn't possible without value. The first transaction. It took it's blade and cut a large hole into the boundary, creating a sudden flash of high volume transactional power. And just for a moment things seeped value into themselves, assuming souls. The second transaction. The hole was quickly mended, and the overpowering transmission of value was cut short. But in that moment the seed of primordial financial might was planted, and the world took on it's transactional form. Conflict and discord emerged, and the third Triagon was ecstatic. This game is true art. From the music to the gameplay, it is a wall to wall pure treat. It is easily the best goblin game ever made and the accurate portrayal of historical events is pure bliss. It may be my GOTY. I cant recommend it enough.
