Wilmot Works It Out

I got this because I like puzzles and this seemed like a fun, new way to do some. Wilmot is a cute little way to take the place of a cursor. I like that they space out the deliveries of puzzle pieces so you won't run out of room to put things together or be overwhelmed. The game won't give you another box until you finish a puzzle so it's impossible to run out of space and keeps things stress free. While most puzzles seemed pretty easy in the beginning of the game they've begun to get more challenging as the game goes on which is really nice. They even have a cute way of delivering the new sets of pieces with a charming post office lady who chats with you each time. This is a cute little game with relaxing music and puzzles you can do at your own pace. There's even decorating options for rooms for people who like to do that and its easy to avoid doing that if you're not into it. Recommend this for anyone wanting a nice relaxing puzzle game to unwind with

very very cute and fun, and i love all of the art pieces- i'd buy some of these puzzles if they actually existed! the story mode is very cute and i love the mailwoman dearly, and the marathon mode was a very fun bonus; i enjoyed opening literally all the boxes at once and spending far too long while listening to podcasts untangling the mess of puzzle pieces. my only complaint is i wish there were one or two more rooms to put the puzzles in in marathon mode, especially if you put them up with any of the thicker frames you very quickly run out of wall space to do any extra decorating.

I iked the chillness of the game.

I adored this game. I loved how all the pieces were just squares so it wasn’t as simple as finding what pieces locked together, every piece in theory could go with any other piece. I loved how the puzzle deliveries didn’t contain a single whole puzzle and part of the puzzle solving was figuring out what went with what. I loved the quirkiness of the interaction between Wilmot and the postal worker. My brain did break every once in a while when I had too many pieces connected together that didn’t go together and figuring out how to disconnect them. For someone who likes puzzles and/or cozy games, I couldn’t recommend this more.

Fantastic and charming little puzzle game. The base mode I already thought was fun and relaxing, with the images always being delightful to arrange but as someone who likes The Most organising alongside puzzles I kept wishing I'd have more puzzles to juggle and arrange at once... turns out new game+'s marathon mode was exactly that and more (as it has its own unique geometric puzzles to suss out alongside the familiar ones). I can absolutely see myself coming back to that mode in the future when I want some zen puzzling time! Thoroughly recommend.
