I have enjoy the game so much! This game has been the only one that has make me feel like in the Roman empire! The mecanics are vey cool and it has a lot of content right now! The combat is very good and I like it a lot! Congratulation to the developers for the game!3 found this helpful
Really enjoyed the story, setting and gameplay up until about 5 hours when I started to get bottlnecked due to inefficiences in stock production. Might be a me problem however. Has come along way from seeing old footage compared to now and clearly the developer cares alot about this game so it is very hopeful. Worth the price for a few hours of enjoyment and i'm sure i'll be playing it again!2 found this helpful
I would love to say everyone should play this game but I dont think everyone should. this game offers a unique exsperience for logistics nerds that dream of being in a roman legion. The game has bugs, but you can tell the guy who made this is a true son of rome . If you too enjoy organizing troop schedules and fending off barbarians and dont mind a steep learning curve you should buy this.2 found this helpful
Has a lot of potential, but it shouldn't take 2 hours just to try and figure out how to establish your camp in sandbox mode using Gemini and the game's own help guide that do not present accurate or clear information in correspondence to the UI or general controls/actions.2 found this helpful
So Ill start off by saying that this review is going to be a recommend but only if the devs continue to update the game. I'm about 7 or 8 hours of playtime into it so far and it took a few restarts to figure things out. Its a little clunky, the early missions that teach you about the game don't do a very good job of showing you what you should prioritize. A lot of this I blame on the fact that the developers are Spanish and as an English speaker the translations can be a little rough. The Pros: -The concept is super fun, its a really fun blend of colony sim and games like bannerlord. -The graphics are charming and the slightly cartoony style honestly goes a long way to mask some of the jank. -Ive found the gameplay legitimately enjoyable, especially the progression. -Updates seem frequent and the devs seem to listen to the community and have obviously poured a lot of love and passion into the game. I doubt it will be a game that gets abandoned. -The menus seem well designed and every time I've thought something was a little weird or unintuitive it has clicked a little later and made sense. The cons: -Combat is clunky and not super fun. Just wail away with the attack button. Ti…1 found this helpful
Tutorial bugs out. Very little clear direction. I asked for a simple clarification on how to craft from a specific bench and the dev told me to ask on Discord. No. I bought this on Steam, there are Steam forums, the dev took the time to direct me elsewhere rather than use that time to answer my question. I won't buy from these devs again.
