I would advise everyone to 100% give this game a chance. Was insipred from playing Sons Of Rome and Zeus Master of Olympus This game takes a minute to warm up to. The initial grind and everything being in Latin is frustrating at first, but then eventually you get the feel of it. Similar to enshrouded, it takes a minute to get your bearings and understand how things work. However, once you start understanding the mechanics and what nto the game starts to flow well. My overall suggestions to the dev team include: Redo the UI a bit so its not as clunky: -Change the way storage works so its easier to trasnfer stuff from inventory to storage etc -Change the right click mechanic to randomly making things drop and disappear lol. (instead of having to left click on everything. -Change the inventory system because its confusing to know what I have equiped v.s. what I am dropping, vs what the team has. (ITS VERY CONFUSING WHEN U DROP SOMETHING FROM INVENTORY AND IT UNEQUIPS IT! PLEASE KEEP EQUIPPED AND INVENTORY STUFF SEPERATE THANKS.!!!!!!) Gameplay Changes please- -Allow your soldiers to set up little camps with tents and fire while out in the world. -Add horses into the game -Expla…

The most recent patch added a way to manage resource production in your camp which alleviates a lot of the issues I had with the game when I first played and goes to show that the dev is active and responding to player feedack. The patch also added a new tutorial campaign for those who struggled to learn the game, which seemed to be the source of a lot of the negative reviews. I really enjoy the camp construction, and appreciate the new ability to relocate your camp without leaving all the resources behind so now I can move around the map without losing a ton of progress. The weakest part of the game I'd say, is the combat ai. They often refuse to defend themselves which makes the enemies easy to cheese, but also results in losing more of your own soldiers then you sometimes should which can be frustrating. Overall it's been an enjoyable experience. Afaik it's made by a solo dev so you'll need to look past some things being rough around the edges, but if you're willing to do that and you're interested in the setting you'll have a good time.

While I do feel a bit iffy on calling this a truly finished game, it is definitely a great game. You can feel the care and effort put into the game by the developers. They set out with a clear mission, to create a slow-paced, authentic and hardcore experience and it fulfills that masterfully. Now the reasons why I said I feel iffy, this game is definitely a diamond in the rough, key-word is rough. It is unpolished, unoptimized and has bugs. However, it's obvious how much effort they're putting into the game. The foundations for an amazing game already exist and are being built upon. Every update, it gets better and better, with said updates coming regularly and often also adding new content that doesn't just expand the things you can do but also makes the game world feel alive. TlDr: Great game for those who want a hardcore experience, still unpolished but rapidly becoming better and better. (Also the community is pretty damn great)

Could not stop last night.. It dropped me in with little to no help. I had to learn how to do everything myself. Tedious yes, but rewarding. I'm now working on my camp and there is crap everywhere, but its all good. im working towards something big.
