Sol sector, 2200.
Earth is ravaged by war and depleted natural resources. Despite advances in propulsion technology, humankind has failed to reach the nearest star system, Alpha Centauri. What scarce minerals can be found in the Sol system are dominated by emerging pirate factions.
A mysterious wormhole appears in the rings of Saturn with no explanation. Early pioneers venture through and report back the discovery of the star system of Gatopea, an area of space never before observed from Earth's telescopes.
Earth's nations establish the Terran Expeditionary Force, a massive fleet of scientific and naval vessels tasked with breaking out of Sol and establishing a secure and permanent colony in Gatopea. With all hope extinguished of salvaging Earth, the fate of humankind rests in the new frontier...
Learn to fly your starship in TEF's new flight school and then head out into the stars.
There are huge open-worlds to explore with hundreds of roaming NPCs.

Its a complicated game but once you understand the mechanics and what all the buttons do, it gets easy. Its also avalible on mobile and ive played many many hours on mobile. Its also an amazing game, its a shame that the developer has given up on it :(
Wasting my time when all my long progress just randomly got corrupted. How even the older save files i have been corrupted too.
Very fun game that I strongly recommend for people to play. Quite cheap and lots of possibilities to explore, especially as time progresses. Multiple areas where the game could be expanded, but for what it is and the single developer behind it, it's a wonderful game. 4/5 Areas I would love to see expansion, in the event anybody reads this: - More goods to trade and a more complex economy; - Custom map creation, and larger maps (e.g.: 256, 512 sectors.) - - Leading on from above, more variable map sizes; perhaps a specific number input, instead of powers of 2. - Potentially 3D environment, to allow for more space-style gameplay (harder to code though.) - Maybe LAN support so you could play with friends in different ships in the same faction, or play as different factions competing with eachother?
