Game breaking bugs, non-intuitive UI, undocumented key shortcuts, horrible dialog/voice acting. Played for 30ish hours total - 3 hours tonight, had 3 game breaking bugs where the only option was to reload before the mission I was on. The combat - both player and ship - is fun, and the faction system looks like it could be fun, but the bugs just make it worthless. I can't even progress the main story because of a bug where there are endless enemy fighter spawns. There are some good pieces here, but the frustration grows and grows as you play it.5 found this helpful
Spacebourne 2 is fun and very enjoyable, as long as you don't expect a AAA game's polish, big budget voice acting, photo-realism, etc. Easy learning curve. Good graphics and effects. The game dynamics seem well thought out and relatively intuitive, and I was very surprised with the fun I had for four hours thus far, by now just scratching the surface. The enemies' AI for ground combat may be somewhat lacking, but it is still fun to shoot them in the face. Disengaging the gravity boots and boosting around with the jetpack is fun. Yes, the voice acting isn't good, but so was the voice acting in Mount and Blade when that came out, and that is (also) still the most fun one can have in a game. All-in-all, a good game at a steal of a price, and lots of fun. Because ultimately, that is what a game is supposed to be: fun.1 found this helpful
SpaceBourne 2 is an ambitious open-universe science fiction RPG developed and published by DBK Games, the independent studio led primarily by solo developer Burak Dabak. The game continues the story established in the original SpaceBourne, but significantly expands its scale and scope by placing players in a sprawling galaxy where they are free to forge their own destiny. Rather than focusing solely on space combat or exploration, SpaceBourne 2 attempts to blend multiple genres into a single package, combining third-person shooting, space simulation, empire management, role-playing progression, trading, mining, piracy, diplomacy, and faction warfare. It is an enormous undertaking for a project with such modest origins, and that ambition is immediately apparent from the moment players launch into its vast universe. The game's central premise revolves around building a new empire after the events of the first title. Unlike many space games that guide players through a rigid campaign, SpaceBourne 2 embraces player agency at nearly every turn. Players can become mercenaries, traders, bounty hunters, explorers, pirates, or military leaders. They can recruit companions, acquire increasi…1 found this helpful
Great game so far. Played 9 hours as of writing this and NO crashes or bugs so far. Not sure why some people are crashing. Works perfectly on a full AMD system. Does need a little polish here and there but works and looks great. Looking forward to future fixes and new content.
This game scratches sooo many itches. If I had to pinpoint it, imagine if Starfield and Stellaris had a baby......this is it. Ill be it, its not as polished and there are some bugs, but nothing game breaking so far. Incredibly fun and absolutely worth the sale price. Honestly would have paid full price for this. If you can deal with minor bugs, and not so great graphics (but not potato by any means) pick this game up.
It's fun, gives decent play time for its price, but has crude quality and loaded with bugs and crashes. Not recommended because the quality is below questionable. Highest discount was -50%, in July 2026.
