About Genso Manège
I will awaken the magic within you, and you will free us from the Rêve…
Set in a wondrously evocative re-imagining of France, a beautifully crafted otome visual novel following Emma, orphaned at a young age, as she fights to uncover her forgotten memories. A witch who lost her powers when young and now living a quiet life, Emma is led by the memento her father left her and finds herself swept away with the arrival of a travelling amusement park in town.
Filled with magic and dreams but holding a dark secret, Emma feels an immediate connection to the wondrous La Foire du Rêve. She discovers that hidden underneath the lustrous fairy-like charm of the park, its employees are trapped, bound to the amusement park and only the magic within Emma can free them. But it has been years since Emma has been able to access her magic, and she must dig deep within herself, navigating painful repressed memories, in order to recover it.
Working at the Rêve as she unravels the tangled threads of her forgotten past, Emma forges bonds with the employees of the amusement park. A cast of wonderful characters; the dazzling director Hugo, the stoic accountant Serge, the Tsundere Performer Crier, the kind-hearted rabbit Lyon, the Reclusive Mechanic Luciole, and Emma’s special childhood friend, Arnaud. Each character with their own crosses to bear, stories of tragedy and longing woven together with desperation, Emma builds deepening bonds of friendship, and maybe more, as she works to unlock her magic and their freedom.
With its gorgeously subdued artwork, radiating warmth and romance, Genso Manège is a dream-like otome fantasy with an outstanding visual power that conjures an unforgettably bittersweet tale.

First of all, shoutout to the cast because I actually liked everybody, which is rare for me. Hugo’s mysterious and knows too much, Serge is serious but secretly funny, Crier is a blushy tsundere baby, Clara is the best hype-woman, and Arnaud… foster brother ready to ruin lives for Emma. But my heart? Luciole and Lyon. Luciole’s the quiet mechanic bae who vibes perfectly with Emma’s soft energy, and Lyon… yeah, the bunny mascot, he’s so sweet I was literally emotional over a man in a rabbit suit. Emma’s actually a good MC! She’s timid but grows, pushes herself, and isn’t a blank slate. The romances feel real, and the story?? Pastel and cute on the outside, but dark and heartbreaking enough to have me ugly-crying in my hoodie. But some routes have age gaps that made me side-eye hard, and Emma makes some decisions where I was screaming “GIRL, WHY???” Also… that little star-collecting mini-game? Useless. Perfect score, bad score, doesn’t matter. I started skipping it. Overall?? Loved it. Beautiful writing, likable cast, emotional twists—just get ready to cry, laugh, and maybe throw hands at the screen once or twice. 10/10 would sob over a rabbit mascot again. #CryingInPastel #Luciol…15 found this helpful

9/10 -1 point because some character too young for romance in my opinion. the CGs and soundtrack are excellent. It is a game worth playing through every route and chapter. everyone should give it a try!!1 found this helpful
This game is a gut punch of emotions even in the amour endings. The game is DECEITFUL in it's appearance as it lulls you into this false sense of 'pure fun' based on its vibrancy and theme - but don't be fooled. Only rocks of people would be unmoved by all the story arcs. It's worth playing!
Am I thhe only one who wants this to be an anime?
