Driving in this game is simply not enjoyable or rewarding due to several design flaws and a lack of experience. The controls are the same as in any other racing game. Aside from the standard steering, acceleration, and breaking controls, you also get two buttons for shooting forward or backward, as well as a respawn button. The modes are basic, with only a tournament mode where you can choose the number of tracks to play (up to 4) and a time mode where the goal is to beat a single lap fast enough to win the golden trophy. Despite multiple customization choices, such as race length and the number of AI drivers, only the default settings work if you're interested in unlocking further content. And this is required if you want to win. While the selection of drivers is nice and everyone comes with a little bio, this is merely a cosmetic change that has no impact on gameplay. Some of them must also be unlocked. The same is true for cars. Unfortunately, even though there are nine cars with varying stats, their appearance is too similar to be exciting.
