ILA: A Frosty Glide

Pretty cozy. Collectible hunt would be rough without map, but added radar is lovely. Also, don't listen to the sign that says "don't mix elements" - hit all the elemental switches you find; it'll save you time and suffering. :p

I honestly could go either way on this one. It was cute, I had some fun, but it wasn't anything super noteworthy or demanding of a recommend. In fact for most of the game I really didn't feel like I understood what I was doing or where I was going. And finishing the achievements felt really just like a giant wild goose chase. The progression is kinda linear, but not really, it's super easy to get lost and without much direction, you don't really know if you need to backtrack or not. If you like games like Time on Frog Island, or to a lesser extent A Short Hike, you might like this one. It's possibly cuter, but more lacking in gameplay than those titles. It's a shame because this game could have been quite a bit better if they had just put a little more effort into things like the customization. Overall, I had fun and don't regret my purchase, so I guess that counts as a "yes" recommend. I wouldn't pay full price for it, this feels like a seven dollar game to me. If you can get it on sale, it's worth a good 4-5 hours gameplay. Yes, I have 3x that, because I was determined to finish all the achievements on my own without looking them up, which took quite a while. You're probabl…

really fun and addictive game I do however wish you could see what collecables you are missing from each area

Honestly one of the coziest games ever, totally matched my taste and scratched that brain itch. I LOOOVED pastel aesthetics. Design chef's kiss ⸜(｡˃ ₃ ˂ )⸝♡ It's not hard at all, super easy to get around, and the level design is really intuitive. The story isn't super deep, but it's very cute and heartwarming. Honestly the best vibe to just chill, relax, and glide in the sky. The character customization is adorable too, and I loved the snowman voices! Only small issues: When a tree gets in the way, just showing the character silhouette isn't enough because my view of the environment gets blocked for like 3 seconds, it'd be way better if trees just went invisible or faded out with dots. And also on Steam Deck, the bigger areas drop to around 20 FPS. It's not a huge game, but it does exactly what it was made for and I'm super satisfied.

Fun movement, great aesthetic, short and to the point. Great game to settle down for an evening and play through :)

An easy and enjoyable short cosy game. You play as a skateboarding witch searching for her familiar, a little black cat. The game style and graphics are adorable. Although I felt I was fighting with the camera angle a couple of times throughout the game, overall I loved it.
