When fascination turns into obsession... :o

Introduction
Amare Inversus is an adult, otome visual novel developed and published by thugzilladev. You take on the role of Dr. Agatha Molla, a heart surgeon who has performed numerous surgeries with ease, seeking that ultimate challenge. Thus, when a male patient, Luke, is taken into surgery and Agatha discovers that he has a unique heart condition called situs inversus, she can't help but become fascinated by him. Eventually, Agatha's mind is so preoccupied with thoughts of Luke, specifically with his heart, that she just finds other surgeries to be boring in comparison and only wants him. However, Ashvin, Agatha's technician who assists her with surgeries, figures this out, and well, I'll stop here to leave it to your imagination. :o With the gameplay, the story mostly plays like a kinetic novel. Only one choice is present in which Agatha either enters Luke's route or Ashvin's route. Either way, it all ends up in tragedy and terror. 3 found this helpful
Amare Inversus is a relatively short visual novel about a nutjob surgeon infatuated with one of her patients. There's a single choice that leads to one of two endings. I enjoyed the story well enough, though I think it ends a bit abruptly; but it's worth the $5 asking price. *Images are uncensored and without mosaic.2 found this helpful
This was a great VN to read through. Always loved me a crazy and psychotic doctor! I found both routes really interesting with their owns twists and turns.2 found this helpful
I knew from the first glance that Amare Inversus would be my cup of tea, and it definitely is <3 I'm kinda sad that it's so short, because this VN combines everything that I love in a good story - villainous doctor\scientist female protag, blood\gore, romance (or should I say "romance" because it's not your typical otome, but it's just how I like it), well written NSFW segments (and CGs, I didn't expect them but I was pleasantly surprised), and cute boys with thicc thighs uwu
Luke my beloved, my heart isn't special but u can have it
1 found this helpful
This was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed this study of obsession. The whole experience was dark, full of madness and suppressed desire, and it was utterly fascinating to watch a brilliant mind falling apart. Just wish it was a little bit longer, but can't really argue with perfection.
