About Kill or Love

✦ AI summary

Play as an amnesiac man trapped in a hospital with his obsessed nurse—the very woman who kidnapped his girlfriend and destroyed his life—while uncovering dark memories and plotting your escape in this psychological visual novel. Your choices at the story's climax determine which of four endings you'll reach, ranging from redemption to revenge in this haunting 2-3 hour narrative about obsession and survival.

A story about obsession, loneliness, and, based on your choices, varying amounts of murder.

Jack, a man with no memory of his childhood, is stuck in a hospital following a near-fatal injury. His girlfriend, meanwhile, is being held captive.

To make matters worse, Jack's nurse is Anna, the woman who kidnapped his girlfriend and who put Jack in the hospital in the first place. Anna is obsessed with him to an unhealthy degree, and the answer to why lies somewhere in the past.

This short visual novel follows Jack as he makes desperate plans to save the girl dearest to him, and as he remembers how Anna tore through his life.

Features:
 • 28,000 words (2 to 3 hours of content)
 • 2 choices at the end that branch the story into 4 different endings
 • 1920x1080 resolution

For a free visual novel the story is incredible! You may not get CGs to make into your wallpaper, Live2D models, or voice acting (this ain't Nikke), but you will be grinning every time this yandere plot escalates. The slow unraveling of how we've gotten where we are is like a good movie not ruined by a low budget. I found myself wanting to stay up all night just to keep going. Just 6 hours of investment well worth it. I've got to recommend this to people, and streamers to see what path they choose.

this is a great free mystery visual novel for anyone with some time to kill. it is very much worth the time- an interesting story with engaging characters. i do think the ending is a bit rushed, but it's a free visual novel game so i can't complain much

I really wasn't expecting much but reading the synopsis got me interested. I played through all the endings and my biggest take away is personal discovery of how people see vulnerability, instability, and downright emotional absence. I really liked how the game portrayed these problems and how various characters react to their problems. The game was enjoyable, story was good, I liked the music and I enjoyed the pacing on how we learn through the recollection of Jack's memories via his diary. The game covers the psychology of what I learned well. Good Game!

Goated game genuinely worth the 2 and a half hours of pressing space

I wish I could give this a neutral review but since it's a freebie I guess I'll give it a positive one, but it's probably not one I would recommend to my friends. The story itself is bland. The characters are under-developed with shallow personalities. The protag character talks in like 1-3 word sentences most of the time to the point that like, if this were the real world no one would actually talk to this guy because you never get more than a 'Yeah.' or 'Yep.' or 'Fine.' out of him. He's also so unlikable as a protag that you as the player cannot really empathize or put yourself in his shoes. If you're expecting this to be some kind of yandere story ... it's not. The premise makes it sound like it is, but I was disappointed to find that it wasn't. Maybe that's on me and my personal taste, but if a story is going to be toxic obsessive possessive love, I expect it to be that. And from the beginning it sets up like it's going to be that only for the ending to be an absolute let down. In fact, the "good" ending makes absolutely zero sense and does not tell you how it got to that point because the story just time-skips to everything being sunshine and rainbows?? If you don't mind j…
