this game is actually really fun, the driving mechanics are solid, and it satisfies the mario kart itch on PC (it's mechanically more similar to CTR, but still). there's a TON of free content on the workshop including a lot of original tracks.

Fun. With many options of difficulty with one balanced by own achievements, style and skill. Tracks from developers. Best carting and racing games of the past. Not dozens but hundreds. Fun, fun, fun!
great game and easily best kart racer out there (yes i can understand all the ctr veterans but still), although AI rubberbanding is a bit too strong (makes them easily pass you at 150% speed) would be great to be able to set difficulty for online AI and to disable items and/or have only boost items and no weapons. (or just toggle item pool) Sadly not many people play it online
Its controls are great similar to CTR, and the workshop has some great mods avaliable
