Not even worth the 95% sale when I got it. Extremely clunky, laggy cutscenes, and all around mid gameplay.

NFS Heat is basically the love child of NFS Underground and Most Wanted that somehow got everything right. If you grew up playing those games, this feels like a nostalgic hug… except the hug is going 200 km/h while the cops are trying to delete your existence. The game mechanics are lit, the driving feels satisfying, the graphics still hold up beautifully, and the overall race experience is straight-up chef’s kiss. The progression, street racing atmosphere, neon-filled nights and soundtrack give it that classic NFS Underground/Most Wanted energy while still feeling modern.

It's a good game. Not something you'll remember, but if you like racing games, you'll have fun playing it. Compared to NFS Unbound, other than the cop chases, everything that game does is better. Especially multiplayer. The multiplayer in this game genuinely doesn't make sense. The other thing I wanted to mention about this game, which bothered me a lot, was its performance. All the prerendered cutscenes were playing at like 2 FPS, but MSI Afterburner was saying I was getting 90 FPS at the time. The game also looked as if it was rendering at a very low resolution, and everything was a little pixelated. I've searched online and tried every fix I could find, but they didn't completely solve my problem. They did make it a little bit better, though. I don't know if it's because of my computer specs, but I've played Unbound on the same PC and didn't have any problems. All things considered, I enjoyed playing this game. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for the NFS series.
