Disney Speedstorm

I wanted to check this game out for my kid to play with his favourite characters from the disney universe. Even though I knew there would be in-game purchases since it's a free to play title, I didn't expect characters to cost $30 or many more times that for more sort-after characters. I tried grinding for a few hours, skipping all the gacha mechanics I'd find in dumb mobile games. I really didn't expect this lvl of greed in a title on Steam. If Disney thinks their IPs are that valuable to all be put into a game, then charge us for characters as paid DLC and have a base price of $50 or whatever. Holy crap, this game isn't worth the time to grind just so my kid can play with whatever character he wants. And it's definitely not worth throwing money at this sh-tty title. It's a waste too, since the game is easy enough for my toddler to play. F- u you Disney and everything you stand for.

So fun and stunning visuals. It's free to play, but you can still play and progress without spending anything. Really well optimised also!! Recommended for all ages!

What a travesty! I both highly recommend and gravely warn against this game. An incredible kart racer locked behind the most predatory gacha gambling cash shop I've ever seen outside of a mobile game. Just take my forty bucks or sixty bucks or eighty buck or whatever and let me play the game. Instead it's this pay-to-progress model with no end in sight. Offensive and disrespectful. The racing is so fun, some of the best I have ever played! This kind of game just shouldn't exist... but I'm probably going to keep playing it because the racing is just that good. C'est la vie.

Could have been a great game, but microtransactions and the typical f2p stuff ruins it

a really good racing game with amazing graphics, i enjoy playing a lot and some of the mechanics are actually incredible, looking foward to future updated and seasons

Do you like Disney? Do you like racing games? This could be perfect for you. Its going to take a while getting acheivements on this game because you have to do a lot of in game things to get the achievements, for example you have to use 200 skills in races to get one achievement. Its an enjoyable game and you can play with friends. I find this game way more enjoyable playing with people.
