About Rainbow Gate

Rainbow Gate was once a thriving toy company and amusement park filled with laughter, lights, and wonder. But after a mysterious tragedy that claimed countless lives, the park was abandoned. Behind the rusted gates, rumors grew: shadows that move on their own, laughter in the dark, and people who entered but never returned. You step into the role of a detective investigating the forgotten grounds of Rainbow Gate. What begins as a search for the truth quickly becomes a fight for survival as you are hunted by twisted Animatronics and forced to unravel the park’s deadly secrets.

Gameplay & Features

  • First-Person Horror Survival – Immerse yourself in a tense and terrifying world inspired by classic survival horror.
  • Stealth & Escape – Hide, sneak, and outsmart the Animatronics. Running and fighting head-on isn’t always an option.
  • Puzzle Challenges – Solve environmental puzzles and uncover hidden clues that reveal the park’s dark history.
  • Exploration & Discovery – Search every corner of Rainbow Gate: abandoned attractions, staff-only zones, and secret archives.
  • Immersive Atmosphere – Dynamic sound design, haunting visuals, and a chilling original soundtrack build an environment where fear never lets go.
Do you dare to step inside, knowing the laughter of the Animatronics may be the last sound you ever hear?

I wanted to enjoy this game but instead, I'd be more than relieved to have this game never cross my mind, ever again. Adding to that, the studio uses AI (which they disclose but I only found out afterwards) which leaves a sour experience. I'm very stubborn in terms of finishing all games I start (and I was begrudgingly near the finish line here) but I had to uninstall as it hadn't been fun for a while. Save your money and sanity.

I was interested in the concept initially, and I still think there's something there, but the actual carry out was very lack luster, it feels like WAY more AI usage than disclosed, the voices, every poster, cutout and graphic you lay eyes on, even the achievements, I liked the environment (disregarding the AI plastered everywhere) the puzzles were decent, and I think some of the character designs were memorable, but a overall disappointing experience, even after pushing through to get to the ending, the ending itself left me very disappointed and unsatisfied.

What could have such good gameplay and a cool story, is ruined with the laziest and worst development I've ever seen. Let's start with laziness. In the revolving room. You cannot touch the smooth side of the concrete spikes. I dare the devs to touch real concrete on the smooth side and see if they get stabbed. Oh, this is just a game right? Then why doesn't the smooth concrete you walk on in the game stab you? Exactly. Second, in that same room, you cannot run across the revolving platform. It does not speed you up, it fights you as if you were running against it. I understand going against the revolution, but across? No stop it. You can certainly run across a revolving platform faster than what the game makes it out to be. The game is built to be difficult, which I appreciate. But the terrible design and laziness of this game is beyond ridiculous. Also, when getting hurt, many times the character acts as if nothing happened and you can keep control of the character, other times it's like a lame Mission Impossible explosion scene where the character stumbles for 72 days and is super dramatic and uncontrollable about it. The hit boxes throughout this game are some of the jankiest a…
