What a fun game for being indie and not big budget. I am a massive survival horror/psychological horror gamer. I have literally played every game out there of these genres, to the point where I couldnt find anything new to play until I stumbled upon this little gem. I'm not too far into the game so don't want to get too carried away here, but I have certainly played enough to know that I would recommend. Solid graphics, good atmosphere & sound. Fun gameplay with lots of exploration, puzzle solving, inventiory system, some jump scares, and running/hiding from the lurking doctor. I think including the Dr in this game was the perfect touch. It is not completely but adds just enough tension to keep you wondering whats looking around every corner. I thought looking through the keyholes was cool too. Not alot of direction in this one, so if you like a good challenge and not hand-holding, this might be for you. All in all, very fun indie horror with survival elements if you have a few hours to kill and enjoy these types of games I would give it a shot, especially while in sale. $3 is absolute robbery.
If you love puzzles, using your brain and suspenseful horror games, then this is the game for you! This game is packed full of puzzles, each varying in difficulty and brain power needed to solve them. (I personally found it useful to make notes whilst playing :') rather than having to memorise everything ha). Having the doctor roaming the halls whilst you play adds a good level of suspense/anxiety to the game, meaning you need to be stealthy at times to avoid being caught, and reminding you that this isn't just a puzzle game, but a horror one too... Incase you forgot! I found the game difficult enough on the normal setting, but if you fancy even more of a challenge (such as being unable to outrun the doctor) then there are more difficult modes too... Good luck! I found the storyline to be well thought out and piecing it together with the notes and clues you find was fun. I also loved that the game comes with steam achievements. Nothing makes me want to play a game more than their being the goal of acheviements to get. The game has three alternative endings to it aswell, which is good if you like to strive for 100% completion too. So to summarise: lots of puzzles, a decent amo…
