Survival is not a choice, but a struggle!iZolated throws you into the epicenter of post-apocalyptic chaos. There are no heroes here, only those who managed to find bullets and clean water.A harsh open world where the slightest mistake costs you your life. Find gear, engage in fights, and prove that you are the top of the food chain in this chaos! A vast world full of dangers hides valuable resources. But remember: the more valuable the loot, the higher the risk. Items do not lie in the same places. Each new world is different from the previous one. Each weapon is unlike the others. Your arsenal—your rules. Don’t limit yourself to basic stats: find and apply unique modifiers to turn an ordinary gun into the perfect survival tool. Your life depends on what you find under your feet. Collect weapons and tools literally from trash. Weather and day-night cycles are not just decorations. ✦ AI summary

Players praise iZolated's engaging survival mechanics, crafting systems, and fun gameplay loop in a well-realized post-apocalyptic world, with appreciation for ongoing developer updates. However, the game is significantly hampered by poor quality-of-life features, including lack of key rebinding (a major accessibility issue), inability to manage inventory while crafting, inconsistent combat timing and hit detection, and menus that require exiting to the main menu to adjust settings, making the experience frustrating despite solid core mechanics.

iZolated is a survival-focused open-world RPG developed by Crooked Road and published by LT-Games that combines crafting, scavenging, exploration, and tense survival mechanics within a bleak post-apocalyptic setting. Using a top-down pixel-art style, the game creates a surprisingly immersive world where every decision matters and survival constantly feels uncertain. Rather than focusing on cinematic storytelling or fast-paced action, iZolated builds its identity around isolation, resource management, and the slow process of adapting to a hostile environment devastated by contamination and collapse. The game places players inside a ruined world consumed by a mysterious force known as the Spoils. Starting with almost nothing, players must gather supplies, craft tools, search abandoned locations, and build shelters while surviving against infected creatures and environmental dangers. From the opening moments, the world feels unforgiving. Food, medicine, ammunition, and crafting materials are all limited, forcing players to think carefully about every expedition beyond the safety of their base. Even basic exploration becomes tense because the environment itself constantly threatens su…

This is a fun game heavily hampered by lack of QoL. Enemy variety and gameplay is fun, mechanics are great for the most part. Unfortunately, the lack of QoL really makes me not want to play it. You cannot rebind keys, I can't figure out how to split stacks so I assume you can't, you have to exit to the main menu to change any settings, when blocking you cannot change direction until you release block and start again. Blocking and attacking seems inconsistent on range and timing, you cannot see crafting recipes unless you are in front of the crafting bench for the item, and interacting with your inventory while crafting or in a container is not possible. That last one is the most annoying for a survival crafting game. If you craft armor for instance, you have to completely exit the crafting menu to equip it, similar with using items like crafting a bandage to stop bleeding requires you to exit the crafting menu to apply it, meanwhile you are bleeding in real time in the menu. Pretty much all other survival crafting games let you do all of the above. Edit: to give it a fair shot, I went back to give it another shot to make sure I wasn't being too harsh, and discovered eve…

I do not understand why it is so difficult for devs to include the options for custom keybinds in their games. I play with a left handed mouse, and I have to re-bind almost every single keybind in every single game I play. When a game doesn't even give you the option to rebind any of the keys, it pretty much makes the game unplayable for me. Not Everyone Wants To Use WASD For Movement. Yes I know I can use external methods for rebinding the keys but I shouldn't have to. I played through the tutorial hoping once I was in the game it would actually give me a controls setting to mess with, but it did not. Unfortunately I cannot play this game further until the devs actually add these settings.

Okay so played this a bit and i can`t say i can enjoy it. Literally there are times when my attack phase through enemy, and the timed block doesnt help either, i genuinely think its a pretty useless feature. Not because its hard to pull off, but because it didnt negate damage and you still have to tank quite the sum of damage. on day 5, some abomination that you will need range to deal with because of how much of a pain in the ass they are to deal with to fight in melee appeared, Right beside the first damn sector. Fast Travel isnt that great either. This is due to the fact that just because there`s a checkpoint doesnt meant enemy won`t spawn, infact they were already there. and have I complain about the melee ? well i got more words to say, you practicall have about the range of a hug to deal with the enemy. This is particularly awful when the enemy can pounce and take 4 business day to go down using a bat that for some damn reason have the damage goes down from 30 to 20. Like the system is there, but its clear it isntg polish yet. at this state you might want to hold off buying the game and wait for the next update that retweak this sysphusean challenge. and the healing.
