✦ AI summary
Players are deeply divided on this survival game. Supporters praise the core looting and crafting loop, appreciate the hostile NPC encounters, and find it reminiscent of games like Surroundead, but even fans acknowledge significant bugs and sparse loot. Critics report the game is riddled with broken mechanics, hasn't received meaningful updates since its 1.0 release nearly a year ago, has AI issues, doesn't run on Steam Deck, and feel it's an asset flip or scam not worth playing.
No Loot, Zombie are dumb as F... it's an asset flip not worth the 95cents i paid for3 found this helpful
Game full of bugs, big parts of the game dont work or are terribly broken (building, fighting, movement, ...) ... yet it was marked almost a year ago as "1.0" with note that now only post-ea updates will be done ... and nothing was done since. This is just money grab scam! Stay away!2 found this helpful

This game is unfinished. You can tell that this game was abandoned by the developer. I would not recommend this game for muti-player use. If you are interested in this game as a single player, I advise to watch out for a numerour amount of bugs. the forums date back from 2025. Dont waste your time and ask for a refund.

Although I haven't fully grasped all the mechanics and my progress is still early, I'm really enjoying Polygeddon so far. It gives me a bit of a Surroundead vibe, which is a good thing! I've seen that there are multiple maps to choose from, though I've only played on one so far. I love the core loop of looting, crafting, and smashing zombies. A really cool feature is the hostile NPCs that actively hunt you down, along with enemy helicopters – it keeps you on your toes! The game does have a few bugs, of course. I got stuck a couple of times on the collision of houses and even a closet, lol. But it's not a dealbreaker; I'm sure the developer will iron these things out. I'd also love to see a bit more loot in the various buildings, so that none of them feel completely empty. I imagine the dev has probably already been asked about this and will add more in the future. Overall, it's a solid game with a lot of potential. I'll definitely be following its development closely!
