I hated playing this, but I take solace in knowing that it's the last game I ever buy from this developer, as they're going to be using LLMs for all their future games, but also because this was terrible. I enjoyed their first two games and bought the rest thinking it'd just be more of the same. It wasn't. This game doesn't have any accessibility options, so if you have poor vision, you should give it a miss as the game doesn't give you anything for that. I have good vision and I found it hard to see a lot of things. Disclaimer: I exploited what I think was a bug to get more gold really easily, there's a merchant that you can buy honey from, and there's another that you can sell honey to, and you get 1 gold profit.... So I did that to get 6000 gold. You buy and sell in increments of 10, it took a while. Thank gods I have an autoclicker built into my mouse. Despite this... the game was still a hideous slog. It took forever to do anything, everyone wants you to get something for no reward. There's a ton of quests that are literally just "Go there, buy that thing, come back, give it to me, you get no reward." Dude, I just bought you things, give me a reward damn you. Weapons and i…

Part 6 of the Hero of Kingdom game series is also one of the weaker ones. The story takes up where part 5 ended and is also convoluted but not as convoluted as the 5th part. I can't recommend this game because the back and forth on the map tends toward the way it was in the horrible 3rd part, especially at the end the game comes up with ways to stretch the game just to make the playtime longer. My rating 5/10, not recommended.

These games are very silly, but I always find them weirdly compelling. The simple story and goals keep just enough attention to engage while still being a fairly relaxing experience. That being said, I did find the resource balancing in this one to be a little more punishing than many of the previous games. There were several occasions I had trouble figuring out what to do because I needed to up one or more resources to have a chance to up more, but I was having trouble finding where I could do that. I did figure it out in the end, but it wasn't quite as smooth an experience as these games usually are.
