Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok

I thought *Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok* was just another old-school adventure game trying to recreate the classics. I was wrong. The graphics have that charming retro look. The gameplay is simple. The interface feels like something pulled straight out of the golden age of point-and-click adventures. But somewhere along the way, you stop noticing all of that because the game has so much personality. The world is surprisingly detailed, the characters are memorable, and the Norse mythology gives the whole adventure a setting that feels much more interesting than I expected. There's something satisfying about exploring, talking to people, solving puzzles, and slowly figuring out what is actually happening. And then there are the puzzles. Some are clever. Some are ridiculous. Some had me staring at the screen thinking, "How was I supposed to figure that out?" But when you finally solve one, it feels genuinely rewarding. What I love most is that *Heroine's Quest* feels like a game made because someone genuinely loved classic adventure games. It doesn't need flashy graphics or modern mechanics. It just wants to tell a fun story, give you a strange world…

the drawings are great and for how many details this game has i am amazed that its free and has voices?? and i hate regin and if i had the chance i would stab him with that clearly fake golden sword i didnt check it but such a scammer wouldnt just give me golden sword and take my mead

I have this game on GOG and since it's free I decided to get it on steam just so that I could leave a good review. The game is a real old school point and click adventure. The story is fun and engaging and the writing is very good. I especially liked the voice acting which really brings the world to life! For a free game this is top notch and I highly recommend anyone that is looking at this to just to give it a go. You will not regret it!
