Hero of the Kingdom

I did not expect to enjoy this, but I really did. There's not a lot to say, it's a 4 hour point and click adventure game with a ton of little things to find along the way. If you cannot find them all, or don't have great vision, then there's great steam guides to help you out. This game doesn't have any accessibility options, so if you have poor vision, you should give it a miss as the game doesn't give you anything for that. I have good vision and I found it hard to see a lot of things. The game has a lovely soundtrack, was probably my favourite bit about the game to be honest. I usually turn the music on games off, because I tend to be watching other things at the same time. But with this game, I left it on. Well worth doing. You play as the son of a farmer and your farm comes across troubling times... very troubling. So you go off on an adventure to find your father. You eventually find yourself embroiled in far greater trifles than farming and have to become, exactly as the games title suggests, the Hero of the Kingdom. quirky little game that gets you hooked. not really much to it and fairly repetitive (you go over and over the same areas).. and you cant cut wood (at least I cant yet.. but I have an axe! and there are plenty of trees.. so you'd think 1+1=2! but no.. you cant cut wood.. only buy it, which is disappointing). but other than that.. it was a little bit of fun.. but no replay value whatsoever

Playable, if you are after a medieval story it's pretty much ok.

Quick , nice and easy game. A bit of pixelhunting might be needed to find all mushrooms for the last achievement. Can be completed 100% in under 3 hours.

Fun little hidden object game that you can't loose. Just a game to relax and let the story flow. My rating 6,5/10.
