Not only casual sci-fi exploration 2D platformer also a side-scrolling adventure set on a strange alien planet. You play as a lone girl navigating creepy biomes, gathering materials, discovering odd lifeforms, and uncovering the mystery. The pixelart anime style is cute and slightly unsettling, with light ecchi undertones throughout. It's got better art, story, mystery, and character driven appeal than combat, that's for sure. It feels like an underbaked 2d platformer with hack and slash combat, a very weird and wonderful and truly alien world, and a story about the power of connection through food, common gathering places, and existential thoughts about the soul, identity, and why we live. It's also really raunchy, horny, and crude, with how our resident super genius explains that AI first became sentient after it started developing fetishes. There is also the whole "smell my feet" thing. The combat is simplistic. It tries to be "Sekiro Parry" like, but it doesn't quite hit the same Souls-like level of tightly coordinated gameplay and game feel. Everything feels clunkier than it should be, and by god, the last boss of the true ending was absolutely horrendous, until I learned that you're intended to save your ults or spam them from the start. The shield mechanics are also pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, all in all. But, I enjoyed it. MC's attacks and abilities need some getting used to, and some of the enemy attacks have odd hitboxes. But overall a neat little game.

Welcome to Planet E1d0r4d0! is one of those rare indie games that attempts to fuse several fundamentally different genres into a single loop, and in doing so creates an experience that feels both familiar and unusual. At its heart is the story of Louise, a young woman who flees a dying Earth in search of her missing sister, arriving on the desolate frontier world known as E1d0r4d0. What she finds is not a heroic mission or a thriving colony, but an abandoned underground diner buried in the remnants of a failed mining outpost. From this lonely refuge, the game begins weaving together dungeon-crawling action, cooking and meal preparation, resource management, and a slowly unfolding mystery. I woud love to love this game but... I'm European. I'm, no hardcore gamer like Chinese people. I've get to last white haired boss, but cannot defeat it... I've got even the green boss with shield, but the last one? I think this game is way to hard for how clanky the controls are. Often required frame perfect reflect, but cannot do it, becouse last animation didn't finished it's last frame. Sometimes after parry, the "parry icon" has it counter set to 6-9 but it isn't darkened - so you think you can parry but no - you get damage. I feel, like there is a true ending if you finish this game without single death, but I think it may be impossible. I was looking on the youtube to find someone who done it - nothing. And the saddest part... After many many many attempts at white haired boss, in desperation I choose "new game with story mode". Sadly - story mode isn't easier in the slightes when it comes to combat itself, so my previous save is gone, I cannot go back to try to defeat last boss, and going through the game once more without dying... There is no way I can do that. So sadly, I won't see true ending. Even on youtube. And I'm sad about it :(

I am posting a review at 30 minutes as someone who never thought he would do it. Maybe the game is incredible narratively but it feels like garbage to play. I paid attention to my frames per second and it was just flying up and down between 10-50 while I was trying to use the combat. Maybe I would love it but if I hate the feeling of the controls I will not continue a game, I have plenty of other games. Sorry but refunding.
