Backwater Eulogy

Personally I found the writing very poignant and touching, and the art is immaculate! Also the story being set in nature with according sound effects, but having that distorted funeral ceremony music clashing with the atmosphere is amazing. Unfortunate that it has very little content but I enjoyed it regardless!

This got me thinking about my own father more than I have in recent memory. Gorgeous art, too, especially once you consider the myriad ways it wouldn't exist if not for the subject of the eulogy. You could say it's yet another fruit from a tree.

This is a fully linier, short little visual novel with some nicely made visuals, a few animated. It's very short, and simple, but for the price I give it a thumbs up. The story feels very personal, like the developer shifting through their thoughts and feelings over someone very important to them, now gone. It's touching, and I hope the dev is doing well nowadays.

A pretty special way to honor someone no longer here. Great idea, well executed <3

Beautiful and bittersweet game, definitely worth a play.
