Days With Ollie

Oh my god this game is super buggy so I can't recommend it to anyone now. I really like VNs but there are 2 bad endings at EVERY SINGLE CHOICE you make and there are some parts where you can only get through if you change the language to indonesian, which is absolutely crazy. It also seems like no one cares enough to fix that. There are some parts that have the choices in Indonisean even if you set the language to English, so yeah. Not a good VN and you can't play it in the language you want. Full of bugs. Even if you are an Ollie fan I don't think you should bother unless they fix the issues and submit a better translation for the fans. Either way I don't understand why Ollie's personality was so terrible. She was very mean. Maybe it was a joke but after everything you went through, to be treated like ♥♥♥♥ after you finally meet her was not very cool.

This game may be more enjoyable in Indonesian but until the English translation is improved, I can't see myself playing this again. I also encountered a question that was entirely in Indonesian while playing in English and seemingly forgotten to be translated, where I had to just guess the answer, within my first 10 minutes of playing. As a Hololive fan this is disappointing as I have played other Hololive VN's and enjoyed them, but this one does not yet live up to my standards. even though this was only £5.89. Please improve the translation and quality control!

Not recommended for english speaking fans of Ollie. Too much content is untranslated or locked behind indonesian language to progress. Also a tad expensive with money better going to merch.

I want to recommend the game, but at the moment I cannot. I can't even get past the early game so far because it soft-locks at the interview. By soft-lock, I mean that the game will prompt for a choice and upon clicking the choice nothing will happen. You can still rewind, save, load, and so on, but the game refuses to progress. Two of the interview paths are doing this, one with a soft-lock choice and two bad ends, and the other with all three choices being soft-locks. As a result, I can't play any further. It will not do anything. I even tried the trick some people recommended with rewinding, changing the language to Indonesian, and then selecting the option, but that unfortunately doesn't seem to fix it for me.

This visual novel, if I could say so, is the definition of embarrassment. As many had mentioned in other reviews, the game has been pretty much abandoned since the issue with English translations and such hasn't been properly fixed and with this game being more than one year old already, I doubt it would be fixed one day. Also this game choice where you could pick the wrong answer despite it sounds the most logical answer is so frequently annoying. Look, giving a "souls-like" thing where you would restart many times because you pick the wrong answer is fine, but this is too frequent to be enjoyable. If this option only comes like five or ten minutes once where in between you can enjoy the story, I am fine with it. But it happens once a minute or even more, which is again, annoying. . For additional context, the developer of this game, "Pt. Global Digital Artha', is also known as the developer of mobile visual novel like 'Hardest Girl to Get or Kode Keras Cewek' which is the same style with Days With Ollie.
