Caution Ahead: Part 1 plunges you into a tense and atmospheric horror adventure where exploration and puzzle solving are at the forefront. You play as John Rand, a search and rescue officer in Richburg National Park trying to find a missing girl after becoming separated from your team. Caution Ahead – Part 1 An impressive first entry from a solo developer that nails atmosphere and tension. The graphics are very nice and help sell the creepy, uneasy mood, while the story flows well and keeps you engaged. Simple mechanics are used effectively, and it’s clear a lot of care and passion went into the world and pacing, making Part 1 a strong and memorable introduction.1 found this helpful
Some of the better sound design and voice work I've seen from an indie horror game. The house we explore is sufficiently creepy and the puzzles are good. By the end of it I'm left wanting more, especially after learning from the basement what else might be lurking out there..1 found this helpful
Good puzzle game, takes 2ish hours depending on skill level. Overall, really enjoyed it and part 2 is out now!1 found this helpful
