Its a fun and simple Ttrpg, with its ups and downs. Pros- The gameplay is very easy to pick up, no need for youtube tutorials or anything like that, as another review put it, "Baby's first TTRPG" so the barrier to entry is very low. Artstyle, there are VERY few games that have an artstyle that stand out to me, and this is one of them. As someone who doesn't care much for how a game looks this game really stands out to me in a way that itches my brain nicely. Characters, Theres a decent roster of different characters who are your different 'classes', for instance your starting trio is a knight who is your tank, a demon who is your DPS/Mage, and Druid who is your healer. but theres a bunch more, such as my favourite , the engineer, who is a support/summoner. Cons- The biggest con to me is that there is no co-op, a game like this would be amazing as a cozy co-op game to play with friends that isnt just passing the steamdeck, that alone would be a missing star if steam had 5 star reviews. Content, The game doesnt have too much in the way of replay-ability. If you do all 4 regions in your first run to unlock all characters, your subsequent runs only differ by your starting chara…

Its a fun simple turn based RPG. I enjoy the game and art style but its super short and overly simple. After about the 4 hour mark you have most of your characters abilities unlocked and can fight the final boss. If you're looking for a low stress simple RPG you'll be happy.

Dobbel Dungeon is such a cool little game. Is a Rogue-like Tactical RPG. 4 Worlds to get stronger, get new gear and unlock new characters before taking on the final boss. It took me a little over 4 hours for my first run on normal with fast forward on most of the time. PROS - Gorgeous clay art style. Charming as hell - Addictive battles that never last too long - Cool skill trees with lots of freedom to play how you want - Nice difficulty balance on Normal CONS - It's a rogue-like so no progression that carries over between runs (unless you complete a run. The you can start with new characters) - No real story. You have to come for the gameplay If you like Tactical RPG gameplay though would absolutely 100% recommend!

The charm of this game is off the charts. It's complexity is tuned to this aesthetic pretty much spot on. It's not incredibly difficult, nor incredibly thinky. It's a chicken-soup for the soul kind of game. The kind of game that appeals to your child as much as to you as a parent. To be honest, this seems like a title almost begging to be ported to the Switch. Peak bite-sized gaming with broad appeal. Give it a go. Honestly, the price is right.

This game has crazy potential… I love it for what it is. Definitely polished. Good, casual turn-based gameplay. Skill tree and equipment makes it fun and necessary to win in battles. I hope for a update more biomes.

This game is well done but IT IS SHORT. like 15 hours type short. There's replayability built in but nothing that grabbed me. Truly a polished game that I enjoyed, it's just short.
