Grizzly Man

8/10 – Nothing says “relaxing vacation” like salmon, CIA conspiracies, and a homicidal bear enthusiast. I came for scenic Alaska and stayed for amnesia, MKUltra madness, and pixelated panic. It’s a pulp thriller where every choice feels like flirting with claws. 🐻🎣🩸
Follow for fishy conspiracies, murderous wilderness guides, and games that prove vacations are overrated. 🐻✨ https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/
I love the prose here, every character is so at odds with the universe in the best kind of way. The narrative itself is much faster than the other pixel pulps, rushing to a conclusion without revealing most of the game’s mysteries. It makes the story and graphic violence feel even more misanthropic. Saves are bugged but chapter index feature gets around this. I hope more pixel pulps get made.

This is my second experience with Pixel Pulps and LCB Game Studio, and I would rather give this game a neutral rating than simply recommend it or not. Compared to Bahnsen Knights, which was my first Pixel Pulps experience, I simply enjoyed Bahnsen Knights more. The pixel art is still so unique, delicate, and captivating — I especially love the way it depicts the Grizzly Man's chaotic mind. However, the pace of storytelling is too fast, and it lacks explanation and development of the story's depth. Many things are brought up but exist only as additions. By the end, I was like, "Wait, that's it??" Still looking forward to the other Pixel Pulps games, though.

Don't know how I missed this one on release, I hope the devs make more!

I loved pulp collection, and Grizzly Man is yet another great retro-looking eerie visual novel from the team. I wish it was a bit longer, the story feels like ends just when it was going to be more interesting. (Played on Rog ally, handheld-friendly game)

I always enjoy Pixel Pulp games and this one kept me well entertained too. The colours and the design were amazing. The story was a bit left in the middle especially with Robert being an MIC and everything. Would like to know more about it :P As for the game, it is still buggy, for the love of me I could not save at all at any time and when I tried and went back in-game I just couldn't click anything so I had to restart the chapter.. Also despite having all deaths registered & the achievement, the last gallery photo never unlocked.
