Toward The Ice

Ok, I want to be fair. I will gladly change this review but first impressions are important. Feedback to the developer: You placed the person in a 22x22 square island (surrounded by darkness below a skybox but literally nothing)...no greeting...no indication of where to go. I have been playing games since the early 1980s...that is hundreds upon hundreds of RPGs...this has to be among the worst introductions to a game and introductory zones I have seen. Once I figure out how to actually start the game (if it doesn't exceed 2 hours or im returning it) if it improves I am open to changing my review but so far...NOT a good first impression.

Simple game to play. Scratches the itch. Developer is active. You can't ask for much more than that.

I like the game and the series. There are improvements over the last, but not much. The real issue? The game is swarming with bugs! Doesn't feel completed; doesn't feel like a beta; feels like it is in alpha. If it were working correctly then it would be a solid second rate dungeon crawler. Unfortunately, the developer has been so fixated on producing as MANY of these games as quickly as possible (this is clone # 4) that one potentially great game never was.

I own the other games they have released and they just don't seem to be getting better. I cant see myself putting more time into this.
