About Landonia
A tribute to the old-school cRPG grind, BBS MUDs of the 1990s and early MMORPGs. Developed by a solo indie developer, Landonia is an old-school single-player, turn-based RPG that includes possibilities of parties upto 16 player-characters, treasures, grinding, questing, and classic cRPG play. There are numerous factions that can be allied with or fought against, and NPCs will battle each other if the circumstances arise. Game has a story-mode and separate arena battle-royale mode:
- Upto 16 player characters that you create can be used interchangeably in either mode. Items, gold, and experience carry over from each mode.
- (Default) ARPG style.Control 1 player in continuous mode, with (upto-15) party members supporting you automatically based upon your party settings.
- Classic Turn-Based.Control every player when it is their turn to move. It will automatically switch to the party member whose turn it is.

👍 Recommended I really enjoyed playing Landonia! For an indie project, this game is surprisingly huge and ambitious. I really enjoyed being able to **team up with NPCs, fight monsters together, level up, and choose between different classes**. The 50 lives system is also a really interesting idea and adds something different to the experience. The game has a lot of content and systems, and you can really see how much **hard work and effort** has gone into making it. I honestly wasn't expecting the game to be this big for an indie project. The graphics are quite good as well, although I think there is still a lot of room for improvement in the visuals, UI, animations, and overall polish. But considering the scale of the game, I think it has **a lot of potential to become even better with future updates**. I did encounter some bugs and visual issues while testing, including a crash, but hopefully those will be fixed in future updates. Overall, I had a **really fun experience with Landonia** and I'm excited to see how the game develops. ❤️ **Great work, developer! Keep going!** I'm looking forward to seeing what you add next. 🎮1 found this helpful
If you enjoy old-school hardcore RPGs, you'll probably feel right at home with Landonia. The combat requires strategy and resource management, the classes feel well balanced, and the game rewards players who explore and manage their gold wisely. I especially enjoyed the Colosseum mode, which is a great option if you want to focus on combat, and the bestiary also deserves praise for being both well designed and genuinely useful throughout your progression. I played both an Ogre Barbarian and a Human Mage. Since I almost always prefer strength-based characters, I had more fun with the Barbarian, but both classes left a good impression. Throughout my playtime, I didn't encounter any bugs or performance issues. One thing I really appreciated is that Landonia doesn't try to simplify its identity to appeal to everyone, and I consider that one of its biggest strengths. If you're looking for a classic, challenging RPG that stays true to the roots of the genre, I think it's definitely worth checking out.1 found this helpful
Fantastic old-school RPG. Loving it so far!1 found this helpful
The game description mentions that this game is a tribute to old-school RPGs and early MMORPGs. I think this game manage to capture the vibe of those games. The game can be played in two modes, action style or turn-based style. It has several races and class that you can combine which makes the game has a huge replayability value by trying different class that's available in the game. It might takes a while to familiarized with the game system/mechanics, but once you get past that, there's many to discover in the game. One issue that I'd like to mention is that the quest tracker doesn't seem to be fully functional yet, so I have to pay attention on NPC's message to track what to do next. Aside from that, it takes a while to level up. But what's an MMO without a bit of grinding, right? If you like games with classic MMORPG vibes, you might want to check this game out.1 found this helpful
This game proves you don't need flashy visuals or overly complex systems to create an engaging adventure. Its simple yet well executed gameplay, intuitive mechanics, enjoyable exploration, and satisfying variety come together to deliver a fun experience from start to finish. With its non linear open world, party based progression, and classic RPG feel, Landonia is an easy game to get into and a genuinely enjoyable one to keep playing.1 found this helpful
A highly recommended game, full of possibilities. If you like classic RPGs or MMOs, you'll love this game. I especially appreciate the variety of classes, races, and customization options! Although it's in Early Access, the developer is constantly updating it, so you'll find it's a live and evolving game.1 found this helpful
