About Burrow Wing
In a tightly packed hand-crafted map with two square kilometers of vertically interconnected sprawling caverns filled with branching paths to explore at your leisure, as well as over fifteen smaller areas accessible from the main map - each meticulously crafted and filled with collectables, enemies and quests.Leveling, equipment, collectibles, consumables. Start with a rusty sword, wooden spear and scrappy plank shield. Replace them with powerful artifacts hidden deep in the caves. Grow stronger as you collect lord shards, and conquer the dark expanse.Numerous combat options are available to the player. Pick and choose between a spear, sword/shield combo and the Boomslang powder rifle. Wear the skin of your enemies after dispatching them. Many of the fifteen enemy types can drop their own limbs as wearable armor pieces, as well as unique consumable items.Sign away your soul to a primordial demon and do its bidding. Your main quest has non-linear objectives, as well as two possible endings. Tackle your tasks in any order you see fit as you explore. Neglect your duties entirely and focus on trivial side-questing, if you so desire. I’m sure Talurbas wont mind.Interact with an ensemble of unique characters. Many interesting figures lurk in these dark lands. Should you stumble into them on your journey, they might be willing to share some words – or ask for a favor. The rich, claustrophobic soundscape delivered by over an hour of original soundtrack will have you reeling with anxiety as you explore the caverns of Borros.

Very cool game. Truly a hidden gem.3 found this helpful
*Only* if you like weirdness and hermetism. I like those but they have to come also with certain aspects. Graphics and movement are rather too simple, and beauty is non existent. No clear objectives, but above all no maps in mazelike confusing areas made me lose interest. Will still give a positive as I got the game really cheap, hoping the dev goes to better goals.2 found this helpful
This game emanates loneliness and fear in a strangely comforting way. Add to that the awesomely eerie soundtrack and prepare for a trippy journey to the darkness2 found this helpful
Burrow Wing, developed and published by Semxy, is a first-person exploration-focused RPG that builds its identity around immersion, vertical world design, and a quiet sense of unease rather than fast-paced action or heavily guided progression. The game begins with a simple but effective setup: you find yourself dropped into a vast underground cavern system with little explanation, and from that moment forward, the experience is driven almost entirely by your own curiosity. It does not rush to define its objectives or hold the player’s hand, instead allowing the environment itself to become the primary source of direction and motivation. The world design is easily the most compelling aspect of Burrow Wing. The cavern system is not just large, but intricately layered, with a strong emphasis on verticality that sets it apart from more conventional exploration games. Movement through the environment often involves navigating up and down through tight tunnels, open chasms, and hidden pathways that interconnect in surprising ways. This creates a strong sense of spatial awareness, where understanding the layout of the world becomes as important as progressing through it. Exploration feel…1 found this helpful
