The Myth Seekers 2: The Sunken City

Boring story with clunky mechanics and not fun minigames. Just wanted to finish it without caring.

It's fine. The facial animation is creepy as Hell, but the game works, the puzzles are pretty good (barring a few in the second half), and they give you and indicator for the bonus collectables, so I'll recommend. The story wasn't even all that bad, aside from never explaining anything about the nurse, her motives, or, heck, even what actions she had taken. I did like that this focused on an original story, and not just "Atlantis was ancient aliens" again. That said, when you DO get to the titular "Sunken City" the level and puzzle designers seems to have just given up. You can find medieval wet-but-somehow-working gunpowder, complete, undamaged medieval books and manuscripts, Catholic Iconography (in this druidic, ancient magic kingdom),and even a modern post card bearing a modern stamp and pinned with a modern tack to the wall of a room that has been sealed underwater for centuries.

Uninspired, boring game. And too short. (I left it running a long time, so the displayed game time is not accurate.) Don't even bother getting it on a discount (unless maybe it's a really steep discount and you're desperate for a new HOG.)
