Whenever I get a new keyboard I like to play typing games in order to get back up to speed, it's a quick and easy way to get practice in without having any need to type something specific. I'd had this game on my wishlist for a while so I thought i'd pick it up. In terms of general praise and commentary, after playing the game for a while I do like it for what it is. The typing is clear, quick, and fun. It took me a few moments to realize I didn't have to backspace/correct typos and was meant to just keep on typing, which I didn't necessarily mind but was confusing for me at first. No points off for that, just something to keep in mind. There's not much else to say here, the game works as intended and if you like what you see in the previews you'll like the game. I haven't tried the online mode as I'm not well over 100WPM on my new keyboard yet (hovering ~105WPM) and I don't want to get my butt kicked. In terms of feedback, I don't have much for what currently exists. I do think there's something missing, given that this is a typing game: I am unsure how to feel about the fact that there is no 'mixed word-length' mode, even as just an endgame unlock after having tried every other…

I think this is a great concept that could get really fun if a lot of players were doing it. Definitely needs a lot of polish. Here's a list of bugs/weird things/feature suggestions: 1. Typing the next word too quickly causes it to not register the next letter when playing online decks. This is completely unacceptable for a typing game. 2. On the main online decks and online freeplay pages in the max wpm it seems to show all time (not daily). I think probably at the top level of that ui there should be a toggle between daily and all time and then that should affect everything on the page (including the modal) 3. I think for navigating ui elements WASD should work in addition to the arrow keys. The ui is simple enough that this should have 0 negative effects plus having a typing game be navigable with the keyboard really well is always a plus. I'd argue vim navigation keybinds could work too (hjkl) but that's pretty niche and I'd def be happy with only WASD. 4. Freeplay mode always is defaulting to being on 4 words for some reason.
