v1.6 edit: survival and story modes should save after every phase now but they don't and I lost all progress after the patch. bigger tutorial font but still unskippable typewriter effect. more settings promised in the 1.5 patch notes (resolutions, windowed mode, v-sync, fps limit, languages, toggles for screen shake, abbreviations and accents). monthly challenge, xp/level system with cosmetic crap. still typewriter effect for tooltips, no keyboard menu navigation, unclickable level select arrows and incredibly spammy and intrusive achievements. and still no demo. --- ninja-based typing game with pleasant aesthetics, fitting if repetitive music, satisfying sfx (except the bonus point noise in survival) and multiple ways to play. words, including many abbreviations and acronyms, keep falling, type them or the name of power-ups if you have any and do the best you can. no need to press enter unless it's a power-up, backspace clears up typos. it's in a better shape now (v1.5) but [b]should've launched as early access[/b]. besides bosses, survival and zen modes, there was no explanation for anything until a month and a half later and there was (and is) other stuff missing too. now the…

A very fun game to try if you are a fan of typing games. The game has some gimmick like typing words to use the item, typing a word twice as well as boss fight. Personally I wish there was a way to just go straight to the boss, because the early stage are too easy, like when the game only requires you to type 1 word each. In term of performance I don't encounter any issues. So if you want to have a chill typing game that you can do in your 10-min break time I think this will suit your need.

Really enjoyed playing Typing Ninja on Steam! It’s a fun mix of action and typing practice. Super satisfying and actually helps improve speed and accuracy. Simple, addictive, and worth checking out.

Typing Ninja is a fast-paced, DDR-esqe game where words fall from the sky instead of arrows to some rad shamisen dance music. The difficulty increases in a satisfying way as the words are locked behind chains or ice blocks, which force me to type twice as fast to pass a level. The bosses each have their own patterns and strategies, but thank goodness for the bonus power-ups I can earn along the way. Sometimes my brain locks up and I need to bail myself out by freezing or zapping all the words! Love this game.

For a game priced so cheaply with decent gameplay, it’s more than enough. You don’t need a high-spec PC to run it, and the performance is solid—super smooth with no issues during my playtime. If you’re just looking for a challenge to improve your typing skills, it’s definitely worth trying, especially for the low price. this game don’t offer anything special. There’s no story from, just fighting bosses at each stage. The looping background music can get repetitive, so it’s better to mute it and play your own tunes. The content variation is limited, but the replayability is endless. I found the "Normal" difficulty a bit too slow for my typing speed (around 70 WPM). "Hard" difficulty is a bit too fast, though the difference between "Normal" and "Hard" feels a bit too big. As for the power-ups, you need to type the word and press Enter to activate them, which feels a bit clunky and time-consuming. Power-ups should be one-tap, in my opinion. Overall, I’d give it a 7/10. It’s not bad, but not amazing either. Still, for the price, it’s totally worth it if you’re up for a challenge. Just go for it, it’s super cheap!
