Only played for a short time but I still enjoyed more than I expected lol. Its a very simple typing game but the retro pixel graphics have a nice charm. I focused on stacking damage items and upgrades and the climbing went faster. Typing faster = more damage is oddly satisfying and the mimic showing up sometimes was a cute touch. Its not super deep or anything but its chill, its fun for quick sessions.7 found this helpful
I got a soft spot for these sort of typing games, the ones that build part of the world around the idea of typing and wordpuns Can't really say much about gameplay, because its just typing. Fun is dependant on your words per minute and your accuracy while typing. If you're a typing god, you'll blitz through the game without much trouble. If you got an average or slower WPM, it may take a little longer. Just lets you enjoy the game a little more. Also, there are some small items and upgrades to buy between runs, just to add that extra little spice to the game Presentation is also alright. Nothing spectacular visually, mostly being sprites on a black background with some extra stuff in the background. When you're in town its a little nicer to look at. I remember the music and sound effects also being serviceable, but nothing revolutionary. Doesn't need to be though, because your eyes are gonna lock in and stare at the word and nothing else. The extra visuals and music will fade into the background while you type (or at least thats what happened to me) Not very long, but quite enjoyable3 found this helpful
Dungeons & Keyboards is a typing game with a beautiful retro vibe. The main game feature 200 floors with increasingly tougher enemies and a fitting chiptune soundtrack playing in the background as you slay countless enemies on your ascension to the top of the tower. I believe the game has even more to offer after you finish the main game (possibly infinite floors?), but do keep in mind it is a typing game in it's essence so the experience is a little limited. That's exactly why this game includes a few ways to improve your experience, by buying consumables, leveling up and buying relics. There are even challenges if you dare... The right combination of these will allow you to have an easier time climbing the tower, but keep in mind that you need to have a certain level of typing skills in order to fully appreciate Dungeons & Keyboards! Overall, a short and fun typing game with a beautiful artstyle!2 found this helpful

Really cool game, it's very reminiscent of games I'd play as a kid to learn how to type. I originally got this to practice taking faster notes while playing tabletop RPG's, but sometimes I just play it for the fun of it. I haven't beaten it yet but I won't give up!1 found this helpful
Fast paced and addictive. Fun take on a rouge-lite! Great art which unfortunately easily get missed since you will be to busy looking the word you are trying to spell. All in all a great for inducing keyboard rage.1 found this helpful
