About Metamancer

You are a METAMANCER, a self-engineered combatant in a deep-future, unstable world. Every run reshapes the game from the ground up, with procedurally generated sprites, items and maps ensuring no two playthroughs unfold the same way.Every fight rewards preparation, experimentation and adaptability as you carve your way through a constantly evolving world.Engage enemies up close with a full melee combat system featuring procedurally generated weapons, armor and shields that support distinct playstyles.

COMBAT:

Combat in Metamancer blends build-driven ability design with fast, reactive action. Your core abilities are still created through the Motherboard system, where CPUs, GPUs, RAM, and rare boards define your skills and modifiers. But combat now extends far beyond abilities alone.Armor comes in multiple tiers with powerful modifiers. Shields regenerate out of combat, encouraging aggressive repositioning and smart timing. Enemies wear the same gear they drop, turning every fight into a meaningful loot opportunity.

THE WORLD

The world of Metamancer is fully procedural and constantly shifting. You’ll explore over ten distinct biomes, from neon-lit city ruins and industrial scrapyards to mutated swamps, data centers, and the wreckage of a fallen orbital station. Each region has its own threats, visuals, and opportunities.Nothing is static. The map evolves as you play.

The Factions

Metamancer has four factions that are constantly battling for territory on the world map. The factions are split into two alliance blocks that the player can align themselves with.As faction territories change, the maps change too. Factions leave a physical mark on the map with strongholds at the centers of their territory. Sometimes you'll see the alliances fighting against each other on world tiles!

Seems pretty great so far! My only wishes after 30 mins: - I would love mouse support - holding down arrows should create repeated movements when aiming IMO - Is there a way to jump to the next target while aiming? I haven't found it

Thumbs up isn't a strong enough reaction for this game, I love every moment of it. I played the first five hours all in one session because I couldn't quit building stronger and stronger destroy the world builds. The aesthetics are simple but capture the cyberpunk setting wonderfully. I really hope this dev sticks with this title and makes future updates, this game has the strongest bones in a roguelike that I have seen since "Caves of Qud" or CDDA. Buy this game you won't regret it every run is completely different and it just draws you in.

Having a lot of fun so far, the loot is really cool and I love the music. Very good choice if you're into traditional Roguelikes. This one has a unique world that just feels fun to explore. Experimenting with Motherboard Load-Outs is also really cool. Mouse-Support for Inventory managment would be nice to have though
