When I found the demo for this game, it was exactly what I was looking for (and didn't think existed): a beautiful open-world traditional roguelike...with no hunger mechanic! I waited patiently for months for the full version to arrive, and when it did, I dug in and enjoyed it immensely. I adventured slowly and carefully, making maps and taking notes as I went -- I was too chicken to choose permadeath mode, but I wanted to see if I could make it through the game without dying. While I played, I enjoyed the colorful graphics, the entrancing ambient sounds, and of course, the alternating tension and euphoria that one embraces when taking the necessary risks to level up in a traditional roguelike. Then, tragedy struck in the form of a glitch -- my avatar exited a cave and appeared on the surface trapped between mountains. Not having foreseen this possibility, I had not chosen the teleport skill, nor had I purchased a teleport scroll. I was devastated: was I going to have to die on purpose and lose some of my progress just to get un-trapped? But before I took that measure, I went to Pixelarium's Discord server and explained the glitch. The developer responded within a few minutes…3 found this helpful
