The Underpass

Small and generic addition to the anomaly genre, with no higher purpose than offering a basic experience that fits its price tag. The rules are familiar. You look for anomalies in a looping location by moving forward if everything seems normal or turning back when something is off. The location is a simple corridor with a couple of doors on each side, telephones, ATM machines, and a handful of miscellaneous objects such as trash cans and a wall clock. There is not much to inspect, so most anomalies are fairly obvious, such as eyes covering the walls or different lighting. However, you still need to get close to spot some of them, like writing on a door or a barely visible transparent entity. Some anomalies can catch you, causing you to fail, while others are tied to achievements, meaning you have to sacrifice a run to trigger them. After beating the game, which can be done quite easily, all that remains is finding the rest of the anomalies. The number of remaining anomalies is displayed below the current loop stage, and the easiest way to find them all is to always turn back. Of course, doing so means you will miss the anomalies that must be triggered to unlock certain achievemen…

I mean the game is simple and cheap, similar to Exit 8. But i don't see the point of having flashlight.

The game is fun. Some of the anomalies are a bit too obvious, but most are well-hidden and challenging to spot. A few could be considered small jumpscares, but nothing too intense. Overall, the game is well-balanced, enjoyable, and definitely worth the 3 bucks.

This is a really solid anomaly game and I definitely recommend giving it a try! The anomaly's were fun and some were even so subtle that it was hard to notice but I eventually got all of them, which was fun to do. I had a good time with this one and even got a bit jump scared at some points. Give it a try!
