Platform 8

An iteration on Exit 8 (to the point that its straight up the same named executable) that I'm not quite sure about. Leans more into "spooky monster encounter, quickly follow the correct rules" engagement instead of the previous "decide direction" mechanic and thus kinda looses out on the "did i actually choose correctly" anticipation. The few "spot the difference" puzzles just lock the exit now so it feels more formulaic. The other ones just quickly kill you, which feels more generic than the "hidden" reset of Exit 8. The spooks are okay, some pretty hilarious encounters and some that feel more generic/trite. Overall still a neat minimalist experience but maybe a slight step backwards from the first game.

Tougher than Exit 8 but the challenge was also kind of fun, even if I kept getting jumpscared. Probably won't get the "good" ending anytime soon because my reflexes aren't quite enough to get me past some of the entities lol. But did reach the "bad" ending and liked it, since stepping out on a platform in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fog, had such a liminal vibe to it.

Stellar experience. Not as good as Exit 8, but felt like a very worthy successor. A bit easier this time around. Very forgiving at times. Exit 8 was likely a game a lot of people never completed, but this is one you can definitely get to the end of without having to be Sherlock.

A short puzzle based game, definitely worth the price tag it has. Challenging enough while still keeping that anomaly kind of gameplay from Exit 8

Was unexpectedly jump scared while my wife was talking during an online meeting for her work. 10/10. Would get yelled at again
