Shady O'Grady's™ Overnight Sensation

I’m not especially into roguelike deckbuilding cardbattlers or whatever you would call this kind of game, but Overnight Sensation has turned out to be a ton of fun and a really great game to jump into when I only have a short period of time to play. The artstyle and music are great, the mechanics are intuitive and present a lot of possible strategies, and the randomization of things keeps every new run feeling fresh. However, I must confess that only about 12 of my currently 116 hours played are my own. My nine-year-old daughter has completely fallen in love with this one, it is indisputably her favorite game ever, and I’d venture that she probably knows the ins and outs of this game better than anyone on this planet apart from the developer. She gets so excited over every update (and the updates have been frequent) and she just loves talking Shady O’Grady strategy with me. So thank you so much Gilligames, for giving us such a fun game to enjoy together!

This is a fun, but challenging game. I LOVE the art style and the audio + music is great!! The indie developer is a musician himself, and the game definitely benefits from that. The story is edgy and to me was unpredictable/unique... not boring. Fitting for a young hard rock band. Overnight Sensation is still in early access, but feels very polished to me. I had fun, but got my butt handed to me. Now that I've learned a lot from my first attempt, I'm regrouping to come back and prove myself to the bastard boss that humiliated me in front of my audience!

Really fun rouge lite card builder. Game play is quite addictive and fun. The soundtrack is genuinely great and the art style is pretty cool too. Hoping some more BoB opponents get added at some point.

Really solid start, hope there will be more card variation later, rn you mostly play basic cards with jsut a few special ones Appreciate the effort of live re-recording of AI generated songs (can't imagine the amount of work it'll take, there's a lot)
