Chill game with some great music...the more you play, the better it gets as you start to understand the roles each instrument plays. Lot of fun solo, but a lot more fun with friends2 found this helpful
Cool!
The game feels slightly too short as runs just kind of ends suddenly but the concept is very good. Especially for co-op.
I like the game. I enjoy having my own band and rocking out with the card battle system. I like that there is multiplayer and having a strat for using your attack cards is a thing. The last boss however is just silly. I think I beat him once. I don't mind the challenge but there are just some really cheap and busted cards he gets which just wipes you. I will say I can only do about 2 full runs at a time before I start losing interest. There have been times when I get completely bodied by some of the cpu bands you have to battle. The RNG gods enjoy watching me suffer. Add more cosmetics, maybe a few new bands to play against, stop with the broken final boss deck lolz. overall 7/10, will keep playing.
It good.
It's Rock and Roll Deckbuilder very similar to Sentinels of the Multiverse; you have your own themed decks and must defeat prebuilt boss decks that have different inherent strategies with the ultimate goal being the final boss of the run. It's also got PvP if you are into that, it's usually all bots so you can grind the cosmetics if you want. The lore is just awesome, some kind of metalocalypse hit the city and made rock and roll a regular aspect of life. As far as I can tell none of the bands we're fighting are actual villains, they don't seem to have evil plans or anything, we just rock out. Enemy bands include a trio of ska loving dogs, a necromancer, a junkrat in his kustom skrap titan, This game is fantastic for groups of friends and it's very easy to learn. You get XP per instrument and unlock better cards after a run, at some point they relaxed the XP gain so that you can get level 30 fairly quickly and can even play handicapped matches to earn even more XP. I wish there were a few more layers of progression though. Guitar is combos and crew manipulation, Keyboards is similar to a barbarian in terms of high risk assault, Drums is handbuilding (you buff Snare Hit cards…
