✦ AI summary

No Straight Roads: Encore Edition is a stylish rhythm beat-em-up with a vibrant soundtrack and engaging co-op gameplay that draws comparisons to Hi-Fi Rush and Psychonauts. Players praise its fun, creative presentation and solid mechanics, though some note that hit detection can feel slightly off-beat and the story's ending underwhelms. Most reviewers seem to find it worth playing, particularly those who enjoy rhythm games and colorful indie experiences.

If you liked Hi-fi Rush, this is more of that but indie and 2 player (and it's just as good).

solid rhythm beat-em-up with a pretty bangin soundtrack. highly stylistic in a way that evokes psychonauts. hitting notes is kinda off and i never really felt like i was really playing on the beat, but still pretty fun.

Recommended Sep 30, 2026

Super fun gameplay, story is a blast but the ending felt lackluster. If Steam had stars, I give it a solid 4/5.
