Castle in the Sands

As an Amazigh woman, thank you so much for the representation !! Amazigh people / Imazighen are rarely represented in arts and medias, and 'Castle in the Sands' is the only game I know that took Amazigh's cultures, people and folklore as the main topic. I am very very glad to know this game ! And, of course, it is an excellent game ! Short, yes, but the pixel art, the story (= women not letting men decide for their lives), the characters and their designs... everything is amazing. Thank you very much for this game, Winter Apple. I hope you'll create more in the future !

I enjoyed the stories within stories approach to this. The pixel art is very lush, very pleasing on the eye. The music is well chosen. The stories move along very nicely between the few decision points, and the North African setting is used to good effect.

A nice short story! Has some great pixel art and i liked learning different african terminology. Hope to see Tiziri and Idir on another adventure one day!

it is ok
Protagonisté Idir a Tiziri vám přirostou k srdci a po dohrání hry si budete přát, abyste s nimi ještě nějaký ten čas strávili. There are some misspelt letters in the English version near the end of the story, but the artwork is fantastic, and the story is a very engrossing tale about magic, infidelity and reconnecting with someone whom you've considered a waste of time, and expecting them to be thankful for that.
