Clunky controls, non-existent settings, poor enemy design. It tries to use controls from a classic like Asteroid or thrust and fails at it. Moving feels like ass while enemies can swim through and weave at will. Barely any momentum maintained from boosting meaning trying to strafe is near impossible since stopping will immediately begin decelerating your speed to 0. Trying to aim your weapon is terrible because of this plus your weapon is off center which it even more of a poor experience. Moving it is very imprecise making large rotations for fine adjustments. Firing means you get pushed back but since your weapon is offset and your orientation/aiming indicator is useless for stupid reasons means the issue is exacerbated. Difficulty in this game means you are made of paper mache with a shield of cardboard and a thruster powered by fart. Early enemies just eat thru your shield while having a their own that tanks your shots and they are normally in groups. There are even enemies just about the size of your bullets that are frustrating because of the aforementioned issues. Proximity mines, for whatever reason, are plopped in front of you and will randomly choose to go off or not. If…

A buggy mess at the best of times, I purposely tried to keep my knockback low so I could fight enemies and not chase them around stupidly, only to realize that the programmer knew it was so broken they actively coded a 'return enemies to spawn point if they get knocked off the map'. 90% of the time I'm attacked, I'm less worried about the damage they are doing, and more worried how far it's going to fling me and if I'll be able to recover any control before I die. Toss in a liberal amount of instant-death beams, which the enemies ignore, but they will happily knock you into, and backtracking in the worst way possible, where you are just flying through empty halls where you've already killed everything for the sake of padding out the gametime. And you get a solid thumbs down.

Quite buggy and at times nearly impossible get past certain stages because of too much random elements. Also, everything and I mean literally everything is stacked against you in this game. Great idea, could've been a nice game, but randomness/grinding makes it increasingly boring as you progress. I gave up at 75%

Carebotz will surprise you... not in a good way. The marketing materials make this look like a pretty cool 3D combat survival(?) adventure game... thing, who knows, such potential. Then you open it up and try to play it and you discover it's an incredibly lame Lunar Lander ripoff made for the Nintendo Switch and apparently ported to PC with roughly 30 minutes worth of effort... did I mention this was a crappy port? (and no, it doesn't matter when this launched on PC and when it launched on Switch, games get judged by the lowest common denominator platform, so this is a Switch game on PC that they want your money for). So the gameplay involves throwing your mouse away because the developers never saw one and don't know what they are... keyboard controls only as you steer the Lunar Lander around a 3D rendered 2D maze/thing (a little Metroidvania ish but not much). There's a bit of combat which clashes with the already bad control scheme and makes it worse. I think I should temper that by admitting the basic Lunar Lander controls are very forgiving, your ship is very floaty and that gives you plenty of time to adjust and correct your position... but making a Lunar Lander ripoff …

The UI is a bit confusing, or at least it takes some getting used to. The introduction to the game could be improved; I didn't feel like I was really briefed. I then got into the first battles and couldn't defend myself at all because you have to continue flying in a controlled manner while shooting. You end up shooting everywhere except at your opponents, who, by the way, are very good at hitting their targets. Maybe with more practice it gets better, but I somehow doubt it. The bot has sinking properties, so if you don't accelerate, it sinks steadily. I got stuck more than once during this and in combat, so that I couldn't free myself with the bot. So I can't aim, shoot at superior opponents, and fly reasonably safely. It is no fun at all. It's been in early access since 2021 and rather cheap, so there's no reason to complain.

Really fun, greatly recommend! even tho i played a little this game is really good
