About Cleanbot 9000

It's time to CLEAN UP your act! In this 3D Platformer, Cleanbot will hop and bop... whack and Vac the dirt and garbage littering a one bedroom apartment. These Hot Bots are ready to spray away the Dust Bunnies and Moldy Silverware lurking in your home. The player can choose which of the bosses to face in whichever order. Make your way over dangerous end-tables and filthy floor tiles. GET DIRTY with the bosses. Each one defeated removes certain barriers that may prevent progress. Clean up collectables to unlock higher stats or a Maze Runner Mini Game: (Rat Race). Heal your character and restore power to your battery by playing as Bobby Pin. He is a character created from a bobby-pin who can fit in the harder to reach places where open outlets may hide. Finally, defeating the Filth Lich allows you to replay the game as your friend who helps you get plugged in: Bobby Pin!

✦ AI summary

Cleanbot 9000 is plagued by fundamental technical and design flaws that make it nearly unplayable, with players citing an atrocious camera system, unresponsive controls, poor hitboxes, and a lack of polish across the board. The low-poly graphics are the least of the game's problems—the broken mechanics, invisible walls, and awkward level design create a frustrating experience that fails to deliver even basic platformer functionality. Despite being free, the game has failed to attract any meaningful audience and players strongly recommend against playing it in its current state.

"Cleanbot 9000" is a very badly made, amateurish 3D platformer/action game with godawfully bad graphics. Also, terrible controls, a wonky camera, and zero optimisation... this thing is a train wreck. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

"Have you actually played your own game?" / 10 Don't upload games in this state. - Camera is one of the most terrible I've ever experienced - Controls are unresponsive to the point that I'm not even sure if they do what I think they are meant to - Invisible and visible walls that block progress - Randomly pauses - Death leads to a binary choice of main menu or completely exiting the game - Very slow movement - Lots of stairs * jump height almost 0 - Collection hitboxes are so bad that you will probably think some things aren't to be collected - First moments of gameplay make the game seem broken (character out of view, slow movement to exit the box), Terrible design choice.
