Paper Bride 4 Bound Love

I've played 5 of the paper bride games now, and even though I did really enjoy this game, it is probably my least favourite. The story doesn't feel as good to me as past games (tho that's not why it's my least favourite) the main issue I had with this game was translation issues and puzzles that are quite difficult for non Chinese speakers. There are a few puzzles that are translated quite badly / include characters that should be translated which make it hard to complete by yourself, and one of the last puzzles is very difficult, it took me like an extra two hours of playtime to pass it without skipping LOL, but I did enjoy the game and I do think it's worth playing if you've enjoyed previous paper bride games! For some positive notes, even tho the story wasn't as strong as previous games, I still really enjoyed it personally, I love when we can switch POVs between the characters too, also the more mature main characters in this game were nice! The art and music is beautiful as always, and most of the puzzles were really enjoyable for me (even one of the later ones that took two hours...)!

Puzzle is much harder and hint are more subtle that they are. kinda bad but still nice to play. \ story kinda good but not as good from PB3. still like it tho

Fun puzzles

Played the whole series up until 5 and PB4 is my least favorite. Though it might be an efffect of me playing PB5 before playing 4. I loved the couple in 5 so much that I decided to skip 4 and play 5 first then return to 4, which might make my overall experience for 4 is a bigggg drop. However, even comparing to PB3, the plot and the overall lore is not as good. The quest time is very annoying, even though i can speak pretty good chinese, the time leaves for solving the last quest is ridiculous for non-chinese speaker. Translation in Vietnamese is also very confusing, I have to re-read the whole clue again in Chinese (mind you the clues are written in ancient Chinese which make it even harder for non-native players). Overall, i still enjoy the puzzle solving and (maybe) the story, but if I pick one to re-play, pretty sure will pick other season in the same series.

Enjoyed the game so far from 1-4, but especially this series got too much actions on the last chapter. It's just too long and frustrating. Also some of the English localization is quite far from what it means. Example: "Can't write with red ink" while it SHOULD be otherwise instead. The last chapter puzzle also seems a bit frustrating with the localization. (Especially the maiden puzzle) Story is overall good tho, hope it will continue.
