Solid hidden object game with a good story! [i] I played this together with my non-gamer girlfriend. Recommended! [/i] I was looking for a game to play together that's a bit easy on mechanics, and forgiving gamepla. I played two Artifex Mundi games before, so their games seemed perfect! Browsing through their library, this one was rated as one of the best reviewed, and I own it already. Probably through some bundle. Yes, I agree with the average review score. On all fronts this game shines, except for the cutscenes, but to be expected with a twelve year old game. Probably older, it feels designed for a tablet. That can be a red flag, but this game does brilliant on a pc too. The story is a fairytale. Entertaining game. One to relax and play. Not overly challenging but satisying.

I loved these type of games when I was a kid. These type of games are still nice to play casually.

Banger Hidden Object & Point & Click game. Every hand drawn art looks amazing, overall the game looks just great, no argument. Puzzles are fun, few challenging but never 20+ minutes of my time frustratingly hard. And story is pretty interesting, almost funny like an old tv drama. Only once there was a "how was I supposed to know that?" moment, which is very commendable for this genre of game. Highly recommend.

Great game. The right mix of puzzles and hidden objects.

Overview: an older but enjoyable HOP game, some of the graphics show their age but thats not inherently a bad thing. You are required to play through the game twice to get all achivements, as you need a fresh playthrough with no hints used, no skipping of puzzles, watching all cutscenes, doing all of the dominos (which are an alternative option to the HOPs) and on advanced mode. Buy it on sale if possible. Accessibility pros: master and sound sliders, multiple difficulty settings, voiceovers for cutscenes available, custom/default cursor options, fullscreen toggle, all cutscenes & HOPs available in the extras menu to watch at any time, all achivements and special items tracked in the in-game achivements menu, click to skip short cutsenes, skip button for big/cinematic cutscenes, multiple save slots, prgress is saved to each in-game user profile when uninstalled.
