About Lumberhill

Sharpen your axe, call up your team, and iron your flannel! You’re going to need your best teamwork skills because nature is united in getting in your way. In this chaotic race against time, you’ll have to chop wood and chase animals back into their pens to fulfill tasks…sounds easy, but it’s not when there are meteors, dinosaurs, and nature itself set on stopping you. To succeed you’ll have to race against the clock, find unorthodox paths through the map, work together as a team, and most importantly—be prepared for anything!

If there’s a tree, there’s work for a lumberjack. Get ready for an incredible ride that will take you to the most unexpected periods and parts of the world and beyond! You’ll get to explore new settings with unique events and mechanics as you progress and meet new animals—big and small, rude and cute that you’ll either want to cuddle or hide in the bushes from. Throughout your journey you’ll also unlock tons of fun, new skins to really make for some crazy screenshots.

Whether you’re on the same sofa or miles apart, you can join axes and get to work: Lumberhill supports both local and online co-op! Feeling mischievous? Switch to PvP and chase your friends across the map (and off it!) as a ram or furious hog to keep them from fulfilling tasks. Want to see what you can accomplish alone? Chill out and enjoy a solitary journey in solo mode.
 • Put your teamwork skills to the test with up to 3 additional friends in local or online co-op or PvP, or play alone in solo mode
 • Have your butt kicked by nature
 • Complete orders in a wide variety of challenging, time-limited levels
 • Deal with chaotic random events such as wildfires, meteor showers, and pirate attacks
 • Unlock new exciting worlds and a wide variety of skins as you progress
 • Find unexpected routes and ways of doing things
 • Throw pandas around and evade dinosaurs
 • Probably kick your friends off the map by accident a lot (or on purpose—we don’t judge)

A chaotic game that often leads to more frustration than fun. First thing I need to address is that this game can be fun. If we ignore completing all bonus objectives and going for 100% achievements that is. But I am game completionist so this review is through the prism of completionist, seeing the game in whole for what it is. Playing the game at first was really nice, gameplay like in other games like overcooked, fun, fast and chaotic. After some levels I've started noticing recurring problems, mainly bonus objectives and RNG. Bonus objectives for the most part were fine, but some of them were really and I mean really frustrating. In a map where there's a very high chance something will fall of the map at random : "Objects can't fall from map". In a loooong 15 minute level : "don't die" where dying in this game often is a result of bad RNG. While it can be said it's a challenge it is not meant to be easy and done on the first try. Yes you are right, but If I fail the challenge many times in a row because logs went in a bad place instead of good one, that's no fun. If the tree grown on panda that was just roaming around and made it fall through the map, that's no fun. The la…

🌲 Lumberhill Review 🎮 Playtime: 21 hours Recommended: Yes, especially for co-op fun ✅

🎮 Gameplay: Lumberhill is a fast-paced, chaotic multiplayer party game where you and your friends chop trees, herd animals, and race against time across unpredictable environments. It’s Overcooked, but with axes and pandas running wild. The levels throw in hilarious curveballs—like meteor showers or portals to dinosaur lands—that keep every stage feeling fresh and frantic. Best enjoyed in co-op, though there is solo play too.

🔥 Pros:

Fun, chaotic co-op gameplay
Unique and constantly changing environments
Great for short sessions or long play marathons
Simple but addictive mechanics
👎 Cons:

Can be frustrating solo
Repetition can set in after long sessions

🏆 Verdict: Lumberhill is perfect for fans of cooperative party games. Silly, chaotic, and endlessly fun with friends. Rating: 8.5/10 – Chop fast, dodge goats, and don’t fall off the edge! 🪓🐑🔥

If you like Overcooked you will love this, more challenging with the same basic idea. Luring fat pandas into a barn with bamboo with your friends whilst lighting strikes you and sets you on fire? What more can you ask for.

Lumberhill, developed by 2BIGo and ARP Games and published by Untold Tales, is a cooperative party game built around fast teamwork, chaotic situations, and lighthearted multiplayer fun. Centered on simple objectives that quickly spiral into complete disorder, the game transforms routine tasks into frantic challenges where communication, coordination, and adaptability become essential for success. While its concept appears straightforward at first glance, Lumberhill thrives by constantly introducing unpredictable situations that turn organized planning into hilarious disaster management. Players take control of hardworking lumberjacks responsible for handling various tasks spread across increasingly chaotic environments. Chopping wood, transporting materials, repairing damaged pathways, gathering supplies, and managing objectives form the foundation of gameplay. These activities initially appear simple enough, but the game rarely allows players to operate under calm conditions for very long. The defining feature of Lumberhill is how aggressively it disrupts teamwork. Unexpected events constantly interfere with progress. Wildfires spread through important areas, dangerous wildlife …

This is a fun little Overcooked friendslop styled game, but with lumbejacks! Of course, not as good or deep as Overcooked, but still solid fun to play local with friends.
