60 Minutes to Extinction: Escape Room

Extremely short. I 'solved' the main puzzle with 21 out of 60 minutes left on the clock and that's basically it. Feels like there should have been at least two, if not three times the amount of puzzles. Also it has the audacity to run pretty badly despite not looking all that good. No matter what settings I chose it basically always moved between 40-60 FPS. Yes my PC specs may look bad, but I assure you I played way better looking games at rock solid 60 FPS than this. It does not look good enough to justify dropping below. AND it fully loaded my GPU at that, requiring it to use the fans at 100% speed, not something even much prettier games did. Oh and there is motion blur you cannot turn off. Luckily the game does not require much fast movement, so you can ignore it somewhat, but it still feels pretty bad. Really, motion blur hard forced on in 2026? Just no.

Forced motion blur, seems to be some sort of weird mouse smoothing too. Pretty much completely unplayable garbage. Had a look on the dev discord, questions about motion blur are ignored. Same in the discussions on steam. Seems like pure incompetence.

Enjoyed it, hope they make another one similar.

Honestly, it was a decent game. Very short though. Performance might have been choppy, but that might have just been because I was streaming to Discord (A friend wanted to watch me play it), as when I ended the share screen for a moment, it was perfect. Might just be one of those games that doesn't like Discord for some reason. I will make a note that the game crashed once when the door opened to get to the Reactor.
